Hello, Dear One,
Yesterday I booked a flight to Austin, Texas to learn from two of my incredible coaching mentors.
I’m incredibly excited and it wasn’t an easy decision.
First, there was contraction around money and is this the ‘right thing’ to spend it on.
Then there were the stories. Mainly what will people think?
Then came the fear: what if I hate it, what if I’m not good enough?
The thing is, all of that can be there.
And this is what I care about more: life is small when you keep it small.
I want a big life and I know it means trusting myself and making hard choices. Or bold ones.
Because what’s on the other side: adventure, meeting new people, growth, challenge – all of that makes us feel like we’re living.
There are thousand reasons not to do things, so if we’re looking for excuses we’ll find them. We’ll stay in the relationship, in the job, in the business just the way it is. We’ll think about taking a surf lesson, or travelling, or what it might be like if we spoke our mind.
But what will change?
What if we felt the fear but did it anyway?
What’s on the other side of the yes? Or a bold and empowered no?
What if there was no right and no wrong, only what we chose? And what would that look like, for you?
All love,
Jo
